Templates and My items

Save a whole quote as a template and start the next one from it. My items brings back the lines you use, with your price, after one letter.

Two things save you retyping: Templates for whole quotes, My items for single lines.

Templates

A template is a whole quote you saved to start the next one from. It keeps every line, every quantity and every setting (optional extras, Pick one, cost and markup, your profit %, what the customer sees and your wording). It never keeps the customer.

  • Save one: build a quote, then tap Save as template under the send buttons. Give it a name like "Turf and lawn prep".
  • Use one: at the top of a new quote, tap Start from and pick it. The quote title stays empty so you can name this job; the template name is only a hint.
  • Change one: start from it, make your changes, tap Save as template and pick Update.
  • Manage them: the Templates page lists them all. Search by name or by any line in them, rename, duplicate or delete. Deleting a template never touches quotes you made from it.

Start from also has Blank quote, Copy a past quote (the lines and prices only, the customer starts empty) and the Starter for your trade.

My items

Type one letter on a quote line and your items come up: lines you've used on quotes and templates, your trade's common items, and anything you saved on purpose. The best match is highlighted; press Enter to drop in the name, price and quantity. Nothing matches? Just keep typing, any line is fine.

  • Save a line: open its ⋯ menu and tap Save to My items. Saved items come first.
  • Add from a list: tap + Add from My items under any part of the job.
  • Edit or hide: the My items page lets you change a price or note, or stop a line being suggested.

Changing a price in My items only changes new lines. Quotes you already made and your templates keep their own prices.
