How does the free trial work?
Your first week is free with full access, no card needed. After seven days you pick a plan to keep quoting, and everything turns back on the moment you do. Nothing you made during the week is deleted or held hostage.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Stripe-managed billing portal handles upgrade, downgrade, and cancel from Settings → Billing. No retention queue, no phone call. Two clicks and it's done.
Are quotes branded with my logo on the free plan?
On Free, the PDF carries a small Karven stamp at the bottom. From Starter onwards it's your logo, your contact details, your terms, your quote prefix (KV-2026-001 by default; rename to RILEY-001 if you want). Customers never see our brand.
How do I take leads from my own website (Business/Pro)?
Two options. Option A: link to your public request page at /request/<your-handle> from your nav or Insta bio, and customers fill in the form on a Karven-hosted page. Option B (Business/Pro): paste a 2-line script tag onto your own site. We mint you a key from Settings → Embed widget, you paste `<script src="https://karven.com.au/embed.js" data-key="ek_xxx" data-trade="decking" async></script>` anywhere HTML goes (Wix, Squarespace, custom, works everywhere), and the form renders inline on your page. Submissions land as draft quotes in your dashboard with the scope pre-filled, an email notification fires, and the lead.created webhook hits any Zapier / GHL automation you've wired. Lock the widget to specific domains from settings so a stranger can't paste your key on their own site.
Do you offer a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Toggle to annual above to see the effective monthly. Roughly 17% off (two months free per year). No multi-year contracts. Every plan is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee, and you can cancel anytime; after the first 14 days we don't pro-rata refund the current period.
Is GST included or extra?
All prices on this page are AUD ex GST. If you're GST-registered (most tradies are), the invoice from Stripe shows the GST line so you can reclaim it. If you're not registered, you pay the listed price with no GST added.
Can I try without putting a card down?
Yes. The free week needs no card. Sign up with email or Google, get full access for seven days, then pick a plan when you're ready to keep going. We never charge a card you haven't entered.
What if I need a feature that's not on any plan?
Email hello@karven.com.au. we read every one. The roadmap is heavily steered by what active users actually ask for, not by what we think sounds good in a press release.
