ABN Lookup with checksum
Paste an ABN, we validate against the Australian Business Register and prefill the legal name, GST status, and entity type. No more typing it wrong and chasing the subbie for a corrected invoice.
Licences + insurances
Public liability, workers' comp, trade licence. Upload once, we track expiry. QLD licences are auto-verified against QBCC; NSW and VIC give a one-click check against the official register.
Expiry reminders
30 / 14 / 7-day reminders fire to both you and the subbie before a cert lapses. Out-of-compliance subbies are flagged on the job-assign screen so you don't accidentally send them onto a site uncovered.
RCTI on payment
When a subbie has agreed to RCTI under ATO rules, Karven generates the Recipient-Created Tax Invoice on your behalf, with correct GST, ABN and payment date. They don't have to chase you for an invoice; you've already raised it.
TPAR-ready CSV
End of FY, export the Taxable Payments Annual Report CSV in the ATO format. Hand it to your bookkeeper or upload via Online services for business. No re-entry, no rounding errors.
Compliance status pills
Subbies list shows a green / amber / red pill per row. Filter to 'expiring this month' on the first of every month and clear the chasing in 10 minutes.
