Mark as sent and accept for the customer
Handed the quote over another way, or got a yes on the phone? Keep Karven up to date without sending an email.
Updated 2026-10-22
Not every quote goes out through Karven's email, and not every yes comes through the accept button. These two actions keep your quotes, your Today screen and your follow-ups right when the job happens in real life. Both are in the actions menu on the quote's page.
Mark as sent (no email)
Use it when you've handed the quote over some other way: printed it, texted the link from your own phone, or walked the customer through it on site.
On a draft quote, tap Mark as sent (no email). Karven:
- makes the customer's quote link live, so you can share it however you like
- moves the quote to sent, so it counts in your follow-ups
- sends nothing to the customer
Accept for them
Use it when the customer said yes on the phone, by text or in person, and isn't going to tap accept themselves.
Tap Accept for them, then tap again (They said yes. Tap to accept) to confirm. Karven:
- marks the quote accepted, recorded as accepted on the customer's behalf by you
- uses the quote as it stands, including any extras that start ticked
- puts the job in the Accepted, not scheduled card on your Today screen so you remember to book it in
Get the yes in writing somewhere too, even a text. If there's ever a dispute, the customer's own signature is stronger than one you recorded for them. When you can, send the link and let them accept it themselves.
